چکیده
The latest international survey shows that slow computational speed is still a significant issue for air brake models. Fluid dynamics models can be more accurate but are slower in computing speed. Empirical reported as effective and efficient. This article developed new experimental based empirical model comprehensive used to simulate both pneumatically electronically controlled systems, well locomotive systems radio-based distributed power trains. Multiple functions were various characteristics of cylinder pressures, which enables the capture details. An activating algorithm was further improve efficiency. Case studies conducted compare simulation results with data. Simulation data had good agreements regarding delays, force patterns pressure amplitudes. about 70 times faster than fluid 7.4 real-time.

Controller Design for Heavy-haul Train System
In this paper the existing control methods for train control in the various areas such as energy consumption and travelling time are examined. A closedloop cruise controller to minimise the in-train force in the couplers is proposed. Simulation results for both regulation and disturbance rejection are given.
متن کاملOptimal Cruise Control of Heavy-haul Train Equipped with Electronic Controlled Pneumatic Brake Systems
In this paper a closed-loop cruise controller to minimise the running costs of the heavy-haul train is proposed. Consideration is given to velocity tracking, intrain force and fuel consumption, as well as optimisation of them. To overcome the communication constraints, a fencing concept is introduced whereby the controller is reconfigured adaptively to the current track topology. Simulation res...
متن کاملA parametric model of the train delay distribution to improve planning of heavy haul cycle times
Efficient heavy haul operations require accurate predictions of terminal arrival times and equipment cycle times. Most analytical and parametric approaches for railway capacity evaluation and operations planning focus on predicting average train delay and not the performance of individual trains and their delay distribution. In practice, train delay varies about this average according to some d...
متن کاملEffect of train-type heterogeneity on single-track heavy haul railway line capacity
North American heavy haul railroads are experiencing growth in traffic demand and increasingly facing capacity constraints. A key factor influencing railroad operations is heterogeneity in train characteristics. Different train types can have substantially different operating characteristics including maximum speed, power-to-ton ratio and dispatching priority. This heterogeneity causes conflict...
